Meet Amy Huziak
Amy Huziak, BA
Amy Huziak is a social change educator, meditation practitioner, activist, and progressive communications expert that has worked with organizations across Canada and the US to create innovative, disruptive events and workshops.
From an early age, Amy began working on issues of social justice and learning how we can work together to build a better world. She studied International Relations and Gender Studies at the University of Saskatchewan, but found the learning she craved was less academic and more based in the challenges of the real world.
In 2011, she began to study the principles of adult learning and social change education, which led her to specialize in workshops on inter-generational relationship-building, story-telling for change, and modernizing organizational culture.
Since then, she has delivered more than a hundred custom in-person and digital workshops for organizations across North America on a huge variety of topics.
Amy has also travelled to more than 30 countries, and in 2020 designed and led a skills and confidence-building workshop for women who want to travel solo that was featured on Global Regina and CTV.
She recently began to share her own meditation and mindfulness practice with others, and is now a certified meditation practitioner/instructor.
Amy currently lives in Regina, on Treaty 4 Territory and in the Homeland of the Métis.
